To ensure the safety of our staff and clients, participants will be required to have their temperature tested, check-in using our QR code and sanitise upon entry to our premises. Masks are mandatory and must be worn whilst on our premises in line with the Public Health Order. Should you not be able to meet these requirements, please contact our office before booking.
We kindly ask that anyone who has been identified as a close contact in the 7 days prior to the training, is awaiting COVID-19 test results or is feeling unwell in any way to please not attend our premises.
This program requires operators to manage scene safety and use suitable stabilisation and extraction equipment combined with protocols to provide emergency response and casualty management options in the case of a vehicle or heavy plant accident. Participants will be required to operate independently and as part of a team to complete the successful extraction of casualties from vehicles.

A Statement of Attainment listing individual units of competency will be issued to participants upon successful completion.
Persons are required to be:
Current operational team members of their retrospective mine/site and inducted full time employees or contractors to the site or nominated for the program to gain first responder and emergency response skills.
All persons will be required to perform strenuous physical activities in a time critical environment. It is recommended that persons are fit and healthy upon enrolment to the program.
Persons are required to have a good level of underpinning knowledge of First Aid. A significant portion of this program relates to casualty management and extraction of casualties from entrapped situations from vehicles and heavy plant.
