CPR Course

Learn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with our accredited CPR Course. Training includes the knowledge required to operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency, in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

Training includes practical experience of conducting CPR for babies and adults through operation of dummies, with advice for infants and appropriate CPR compression rates, etc.

Other CPR courses include Low Voltage Rescue and CPR, Advanced CPR and First Aid and pain management. There is also specialist training for initial response first aid, including learning about providing remote response to a distant or isolated situation.

To keep the necessary skills current, taking a regular CPR Refresher Course is advised in order to provide the appropriate response if and when needed.

Our occupational course assists with meting safety and crisis response requirements in the workplace. The Certificate II in Emergency Medical Service First Response Program provides an award for successful participants in terms of certification for their newly gained skills and knowledge.

Learn to provide CPR and basic life support when required. Highly practical four hour course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Our Provide CPR program provides the skills and knowledge required to provide basic life support until the arrival of medical or other assistance.
It focuses on providing participants with the competency and confidence to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency in line with the Australian Resuscitation (ARC) Guidelines.
This highly practical, 4 hour course on how to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation includes details on how to accurately gather and convey incident information.

Accredited First Aid Course to learn first aid skills for incident response, including resuscitation and AED operation.

This First Aid Course provides training in the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response, life support and management of any casualties, the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.
It also includes the skills and knowledge required to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency in line with ANZCOR Guidelines as endorsed by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC).

Our 4 hour LVR and CPR course results in a Statement of Attainment for competency in rescue from a live LV panel and providing CPR.

This LVR and CPR Training program provides participants with the confidence and competency required to perform CPR on an unconscious casualty, in the context of those having suffered electrocution.
The Low Voltage Rescue component of this program covers the skills and knowledge required for a person to be able to carry out a risk assessment of an electronically hazardous situation and perform low voltage rescue procedures without hazard to themselves or others.
Our four hour course includes practical training and results in a Statement of Attainment for competency in rescue from a live LV panel and providing CPR.

 


 

Advanced First Aid & Advanced Resuscitation Course


Take our Advanced CPR and First Aid Course to learn specialised response to complex incidents and resuscitation situations.

Advanced First Aid & Advanced Resuscitation program provides the CPR and First Aid skills, knowledge and training required to provide an advanced response and resuscitation in a range of situations.
It includes descriptions of the skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
