Participants will be required to provide evidence of full vaccination upon arrival. If a participant is not fully vaccinated they will be required to provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 result for a test taken within 5 days of the commencement of the training.
This first aid training course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide basic first aid response, life support and casualty management until further medical help or assistance arrives. It also includes the skills and knowledge required to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency in line with ANZCOR Guidelines as endorsed by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC).
This program involves a self-paced online theory component to be completed prior to face-to-face attendance.
UNITS OF COMPETENCY:
A Statement of Attainment listing individual units of competency will be issued to participants upon successful completion.
$120 per participant
Although this program is highly practical, persons must demonstrate basic literacy and numeracy skills to accurately gather and convey incident information including completing casualty assessment cards.
Persons are required to be physically capable of performing at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor to be assessed in this unit of competency.For more information on this program read more
