This program is designed for persons who have previously attained competency to enter and work in a confined space. It is also applicable to persons required to perform in a Confined Space standby role. The course provides participants with the WHS and legislative requirements and procedures to ensure the health, safety and welfare of persons required to work in Confined Spaces. This course involves an introduction to emergency response procedures and considerations for first aid and fire fighting in a Confined Space context. This introductory program does not train or assess competency in breathing apparatus.

- MSMWHS200 Work safely
- MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit
- MSMPER202 Observe permit work
- MSMPER205 Enter confined space

- RIIWHS202D Enter and work in confined spaces
Note: As this is a reassessment program, participants must have previously been assessed as competent in the units of competency being assessed or equivalent. Recommendation is persons are reassessed every two years or in line with industry standards and requirements. Evidence of previous qualifications is required to be provided as a entry requirement of the program.
